Ok. So for what this is, not bad. The aroma is the worst part. Grassy with some chicken stock notes. Smells worse than it tastes. Pours an attractive deep golden with a big resilient frothy white head. Some light malty notes with a small amount of grassy hops. Finishes clean and dry. It’s a malt liquor, but not nearly the worst one. Better than the non-ice version of Mickey’s.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2015 IMO the best malt liquor. Something about ice brewing...it’s not just a fad/cheap gimmick....It does make it taste different. I think "rougher" is really how it tastes. Less sweetness, has more bite, kind of almost tastes like legit beer?! Note that with malt liquor, rougher is better since normally it just tastes sweet and boring

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a basic clear yellow color with a fast rising carbonation trying to fill a rapidly dieing bubbly white head. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had a blast of booze in the face with a sweetness that came across as sugar.
The taste followed the nose.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with not much of a sessionable quality to it because of the large amount of sugar involved in hitting my tongue the way it does.
Overall, more malt liquor. Well, I’m not exactly sure what else to say other than I probably wouldn’t have this again.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Transferred from BA review on 3-7-12 -
Poured from 40 into pint glass
Appearance - Pours a medium golden color with a billowy head that fades quite fast. With the head dissipating there is actually quite a surprising amount of lacing on this brew.
Smell - The aroma is very light. There is the slightest bit of corn with an ever so slightly caramel aroma present; very weak overall.
Taste - The taste starts out very sweet; corn and a little bit of caramel (just as the nose suggested). At the very end of the flavor there is an ever so light hoppy and sweet flavor on the tongue. They are very light (very light) and mainly toffee and citrus in nature. It would be quite pleasant, but unfortunately there is a rather unpleasant stale aftertaste that is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with a very moderate level of carbonation. It is slightly more creamy feeling then would be expected, but still very appropriate.
Overall - Slightly beer in some regards then the standard malt, but in some way worse. Not bad, but really not good either.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
40 oz bottle from some purveyor of filth in downtown Lahaina, Maui, partially imbibed in our apartment in Kanapali Beach - Lord God forgive me!
Light golden with a big old ’just’ off white head of small bubbles.
Nose is grain, corn, light piss stains on a hot day, spicerack (mainly the smeggy bits that got stuck in the holes on top since you last used this particular dispenser - Best Before June 2005 or some shit).
Taste comprises paper - not even brown, grain, light cereal, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
To the sea with you ... 38oz of you ... not a patch on King Cobra !
