3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Resin, herbs and hops noze, sweet vanilla ? Some yeast notes.
Cloudy blond (a bit milky) with really nice head that lasted very long and stayed structured for a long time.
light sweetness, lightly bitter, could be a bit more tasty.
light body, thin feel, lively in the mouth, bitter finish with an interesting sweet-spice note. But to light
Interesting, good, but could be better with a bit more taste, and a bit less agressive carbo, I’m really interested in that last note.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
With a sharp and distinctive first sip this Belgian Flanders Blonde is bubbly and crisp. The palate doesn’t linger, but it is quite smooth for an unfiltered ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bière blonde trouble au large col blanc, forte pétillance. Arôme fort en houblon, bois et citron. Goût fruité au départ, puis vient l’amertume houblonnée et épicée qui compensensent la sécheresse finale. Très agréable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle. So you can get a bottle of this nowadays!
Appearance: clear blonde beer full of carbonation. Huge to gushing white head. Somewhat adhesive.
Nose: lemon, wood, spices, grains, lots of hops.
Taste: very fruity start, goes down really pleasant. Very dry and bitter finish, but after a while the fruit comes back and remains in your mouth a little longer, though now in combination with a strong alcohol taste.
The dryness is balanced out nicely, some spices noticeable again (not sure if they were used in the recipe though).
A light drinking very enjoyable beer!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught Small, very fine & dense snowwhite head over hazy orange-ochre beer with a mossy sheen. Rather neutral nose with discreet hops (EU/UK); grains, garden herbs. Bitterish-grainy flavour with good balance; Sweetness as an afterthought, but nowhere cloying or exagerated. Faintly nutty, bit yeasty. Hops give exactly enough dryness. Light to medium bodied, very slick. Pleasing, maybe a tad less bold than the La Trappe version, but excellent session beer.
