Poured from bottle on 04/26/2013. Pours a reddish color with aromas of spice hops, alcohol, and citrus. Tastes pretty much as it smells with a hop forward flavor and mild sweetness finish.

Deep copper pour with foamy white head and lace. Aroma of dried fruit and a hinto abv. Sweet rock candy like flavor an hinto warmth and a decent bitter. A bit odd. A bottle that I’ve had at least 3 years. Not really special to me.

From the Cortland Bottle Shop. The beer pours an amber color, white head. The flavor is fruit, bread, flowers, citrus. Strong hop presence. Flavor is the same, more citrus than flowers. Also, a slight flavor of soap. The finish is flowers, citrus, soap. Medium/thick in body. Good, but a bit odd. Hoppy for the style, and the weird soap thing.

Sample at the Blarney Wine tasting on 03/16/2013: Hazy deep copper color with a medium beige head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and grapeftuit. Medium to full body with flavors of bready malt, citrusy hops and a touch of vanilla. The finish is sweet with a citrus and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Not a bad barley wine, not great. Some toffee, caramel, raisins. Nice hop presence, however the corn sugar to malt ration is a little high I think BC it has a cidery bite and the malty mouth feel is lacking. Don’t care for this yeastat all

A very hoppy Barleywine that is balanced by equally bitter taste. Very good and would recommend this to any Barleywine drinkers.

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, orange zest, straw, light spice and light mint. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, orange zest, light earthiness and a hint of spice with a smooth dry finish.

Bottle shared by mista. Pours light brown with little aroma. Flavor was a typical barleywine. Not bad, had nice mouthfeel and was very drinkable. I didn’t recognize the assertive hops or big malt balance described on this one.

Bottle shared by Mista, Thanks Catan master hah, Pretty straightforward barleywine no real punch in the face heat, a nice balance between english and american style to me, it didnt have the sweetness of an english, unsure of age of this, perhaps about 1yr to 2yr.

Bottle shared by mista! Light brown pour, small ring of carbonation and lacing and an aroma of light spice. Flavor is light body, thin caramel malt and slightly sweet and peppery on the finish. Decent.
