Duke (117), New York, USA Sep 9, 2004 Cloudy orange color. Good head with lacing. Floral nose like an IPA. Good malts too. Very hoppy finish. A nice surprise.
cbkschubert (1566), Skyline, Arizona, USA Aug 19, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Premier Gourmet - Pours a golden color with a medium size off white head. Nice layered lacing. Aroma is spiced hops. Flavor is herbal hops and English malt. Medium body. A decent beer. SpudClampDawg (919), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jul 9, 2008 12oz bottle: Dull amber pour with a thick white head with staying power. The aroma is a soppy mess of diacetyl, soggy grain, dull cascades and ether. Yikes. Some caramel and toffee notes join the cluttered body. Leaves a flat rindy citrus note on the tongue. Not much to say here - the bottle came straight from Ithaca, so it shouldn’t be very old. Very flat and grainy. Haslinger (518), Syracuse, New York, USA Jun 12, 2008 bottle from the
"Family Jewels" mixpack, A nice honey aroma with a bit of hops. The taste is a great blend of hops and some spiciness. Delicious would buy again rudolf (1554), Buffalo, New York, USA May 19, 2008 Golden body, white head. Nose is citrus/grapefruit/orange, toffee, malt. Flavor is citrus, bitter resin, hay. Better than I remembered. Big bitter caramel finish. Tessic (372), Brantford, Ontario, Canada May 6, 2008 This IPA was a nice cloudy copper colour with a beautiful tan, thick head. Scents include citrus, juniper, pine and grass. First taste was quite hoppy with flavours of lemony/orange citrus. Nice sharp finish with a little sweetness shining through. Very Good IPA!
