3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I loved it. Tasted great as I sat outside by a fire. This Scotch Style Ale is as tasty as a Porter, but has a nice bite to make you feel like a man who knows when thereís a cold wind a blowiní in all the wrong places.

Split a 22oz with friends. Poured a red/brown color with a light tan head. Aroma was some sweet malts, touch nut, some caramel. Flavor was caramel nut character, with sweet malts. Alcohol found in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Another throw back to my days in Syracuse. I wish this brewery made it out of NYS. Brown / amber appearance with a small lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet brown sugar and caramel. Taste is very very sweet with a warm bread / caramel flavor. Alcohol is well hidden.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark nut brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, cherry, plum and a bit of wood. The flavor was tangy cherry, plum, caramel, cola and pear. Medium length tangy finish with lingering fruit and caramel. Medium body. Solid.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Half Time. Pours ruddy dark brown with a creamy (small) beige head. Aroma of dark red fruits over some roast malt. Med body. Iím thinking this is fruit of the red sort over some chocolate cola. Thatís just gotta be wrong. But it suggests that. So whatís wrong with chocolate cherry cola? Smooth. Excellent texture. Tasty. Mildly challenging. It finishes slightly on the malty side. Itís sort of malt/dry/light malt. Anyway itís good stuff.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Malty and minty aroma. Dark amber color with a small tan head. Sweet and refreshing floral taste in the beginning slowly building sweetness to the finish. Very unique tasting beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Poured fairly clear garnety-amber with a dense, well-retained khaki head.. set up nicely in the glass. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted redder fruits and caramel with touches of smoke and vanilla.. alcohol warmth on the back of the nose.. inviting. The flavor opened with tart darker fruit skins and a little smoke.. sweet caramel and molasses joined fruity meat at the core.. smoke, earthy bitterness. and peppery alcohol warmth on the edges.. finished sweet, yet warm, with nice balance between the components.. long, dry, somewhat grainy feel after the swallow. Medium-bodied with a solid feel and flow on the palate.. too sweet for me, but otherwise drinkable and well-crafted.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear brown with a bit of foamy tan head. The aroma is dominated by malts with some caramel, toasty and bready malts, lightly nutty with a hint of smoke. Taste is more malt with lots of caramel, but also a bit of dark fruit that comes out, specifically cherry. It has a light malt sweetness up front, but finishes fairly dry with some more fruit and caramel on the finish. The 9% alcohol is hidden very well.

Charcoal, booze and smoke in the nose. Sickly sweet palate, lots of ripe plums. Good and decent and original, Iíve wanted to try this one for quite some time, so thanks for bringing it along to share Ron!
