2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dufter af Martini, men det gør mjød åbenbart. Honning og citron duft.
Meget tydelig honning og lidt krydderi, ikke så meget andet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours slughtly hazy light yellow with small white head. Clear aroma of flowers, honey and fruit with touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with touches of spice, giving way to heavy notes of honey, alcohol and flowers. Mildly sweet finish with a spicy note. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 9.4%. Spicy and caramelly honey aroma. Cloudy yellow colour, sparkling. Small stable creamy chalk white head. The flavour is sweet, sugary with a good honey note, some white wine notes as well. Late spicy honey note, has a sort of gingery bite in the finish. Seems alcoholic, but in a good warming way.

2.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
It comes in a properly big (0.75l) bottle with an inviting viking-y label.
When you poor it, it looks nice and it smells nice.
Unfortunately, when you drink it, it tasted like (other) bad honey-beers. It’s quite sweet but with a (what I would imagine) soapy-sugary taste. The aftertaste is not pleasant either.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.75 bottle. Light amber color, medium white head of medium retention, it is inherently hazy. Very sweet aroma, mead and vinuous fragrances dominate front of the nose followed by floral and herbal notes as well as a little bit of ginger. Very sweet taste dominated not so much by mead as by honey, definitely unbalanced and kind of sour in the background. Full body, sticky texture and average carbonation. Finish is long and sweet, ginger mentioned in the description finally pushes its way through and is distinctly noticeable. All in all it is an interesting beer, the uncanny addition of mead makes it exciting but it does not come off all that well, there is a lot of room for improvement.
