First of the 7 Deadly BeeRs. Indulge your demons: Gluttony is the overpowering desire to consume more than one requires. 200 IBUs.
Gluttony Triple IPA overindulges the palate with profound malt, powerful hops and abundant body. Its deep decadent golden orange color presents an appetizing invitation for extravagant enjoyment. Its aroma entices with citrus, pine and alcohol while the flavor provides a smörgåsbord of sweet malt, fresh tangerine/grapefruit and a resinous hop character that lingers well beyond the finish.

Bottle acquired via trade with goldtwins...THANKS LARRY!!! Hazy lemon/tangerine color with a small ivory head that left a small amount of lacing. Aroma is caramel with herbal qualities. Flavor is all iced tea...definitely past its prime. Lost all three of it’s I’s P’s & A’s, unfortunately. Moderate carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Glad I had a chance to try this one.

July 26, 2015. On tap at Blind Tiger Ale House.
Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is canned peaches, dried apricots, citrus, toffee and notes of pineapple. Taste is medium sweet with lots of canned peaches and toffee, medium bitter finish along with sweet fruity and malty notes. Medium bodied, soft to average carbonation.
Not a lot of fresh hoppy notes (old?), still good but not what I look for in an IIPA.

Sampled during RBWG Tampa 2015. Deep gold pour with a modest white head. Pretty big, sweet aroma. Caramel malt. Toasted bread. Trail mix. Flavor is a bit heavy. Chewy malt. Flabby caramel. Some onion. A bit of citrus character. Full body, soft carb. Only OK.

More of a strong ale. Fresh bottle from Decicco, however maybe in fridge a bit long. Still a very good malt base, mouthfeel, and drinkability.

Bottle at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to Craig for this one, 21/02/15. Rich amber with a big old beige covering. Nose is rich malt, caramel, grapefruit, light spice. Taste comprises pine, apricot, mango, sweet licks, caramel malt. Medium + body, fine carbonation, sweetish close. Decent number, drinks a little like a barley wine, hops subdued but still a good sipper.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours hazy orange-gold with a creamy cap. Ripe citrus fruits dominate, with some dank hop punch, bread, mild caramel. Full bodied, somewhat chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, resinous, with pale bread sugars, ripe orange, slight brown sugar. OK, just a bit heavy handed.

Bottle from City Beer. Pours orange amber with a tiny beige head and a fruity aroma. There is a full-bodied caramel malt flavor with a slight bit of fruit (apricot?) and a dry bitter alcohol finish. A nice sipper. The 200 IBU is surprisingly not overwhelming.

rbwg2015. Bottle, courtesy of Sledutah, pours with a hazy brown body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up thick malts, molasses, brown sugar mixed with hard candy clementine and mango and pineapple as well as soft candied floral hops. Smells inviting. The taste delivers thick smooth malts, molasses and a wide load of malt sweetened pine and floral hops that are rimmed with various citrus and tropically fruity notes. Solid.

Bomber from SHIG, thanks bro. Poured a thick chunky deep amber body with an average sized dense creamy eggshell colored head. Aroma of rotting citrus, old honey, sweet wort, dough, bad citrus fruit, rotting flowets. Big full body, creamy, some ABV heat lingers on the back of your throat. Flavor is thesame as the aroma. Not sure I love the triple IPA style.
