Bottle at home. Thanks Andy! Pours a dark caramel color, white head flashes and dissipates. Aroma is oak, whiskey, a bit of honey and caramel, faint spices. Taste is nice, vanilla, oak, caramel, faint spice, light faint fruitiness. Mild alcohol burn, medium body, low carbonation. I like this.

Bottle from AKAndy. Hazy light mahogany with a light tan head. Fairly sweet nose with vanilla, oak, toffee, concentrated wheat if that makes sense, rye, mild+ carbonation, moderate+ body, sweet, boozy, enjoyable.

Amber with foamy effervescent whitish beige head... Aroma of vanilla, oak, rye whiskey barrel notes... Flavor is very boozy, notes of vanilla, toffee, with lingering alcohol burn... Decent, maybe a little too hot ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep amber color out of the bomber. Creamy ivory colored head. Rich ripe fruit nose with vanilla and whiskey barrel notes. Lighter on the palate than I would have predicted. Flavors of vanilla, whiskey, oak, toffee, over ripe fruit and a warming alcohol in the finish.

Bomber via trade with SHIG. Poured a solid orangey/amber body with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma is sweet, yesast, honey, rotting fruit, dough, whiskey barrel, raisin. Big full body, softer carbonation, chalky and just a hint of heat. Flavor is better than the aroma, notes of yeast, dry toast, tea leaves, dry honey, old molasses and a hint of whiskey.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy amber with a creamy near-white head. Aroma of light bourbon with some slight wood notes. Med + body. Flavor? Strangely it does taste like a wheat wine! There’s a little sweetness, but also oak and a little rye. It’s actually quite delicate. Heat is essentially non-existent. Potentially deadly, but entirely marvelous.

On tap at Final Gravity. Pours Light amber with a nice beige head and a sourish wheat aroma. Thete is a hearty wheat and rye flavor with a warm whiskey. It’s interesting how the rye whiskey actually imparts a rye bitternessto theoverall flavor.

Clear amber color with ivory foam.  Fruity, white wine, caramel, light pit fruit aromas. Smooth medium body. Nice pit fruit, spicy white wine, pale malt, caramel flavors----good.
