miketd (679), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Aug 2, 2009 Dark brown pour with a decent head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is bitter coffee with some caramel. Medium body and drinkable but not my favorite. highibus (421), Mill Creek, Washington, USA Jul 26, 2009 Updated: Jul 27, 2009Deep black pour with decent tab head lots of wonderful lacing. Light aroma of roasted and biscuit malt, coffee and toffee. Nice roasted nut and coffee flavors with a lingering chocolate finish. Nice. j12601 (1149), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Jul 19, 2009 Bottle at the Cuvee de Castleton release at Captain Lawrence. Pours black with a thin tan head. Coffee and roast on the nose, and slightly astringent. Thin to medium and roasty. Finishes with more roast and a light bitterness. drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Jul 14, 2009 Coffee. Roasty aroma and flavor. Not very thick or chewy. Not as thick as I would like it to be. Faint taste of vanilla. Good, but my expectations were high so I wanted more. shigadeyo (2210), Harrison, Ohio, USA Jul 10, 2009 6/12/2009: Midnight Sun Arctic Rhino Coffee Porter has a roasty aroma with coffee and cream. The flavor is also roasty with a yeasty middle and a finish that reminds me of burnt coffee or like coffee that has been sitting in the pot too long. This beer has a dark coffee-brown color, a foamy tan-colored head, and an average mouthfeel. It is good overall, but nothing really special or memorable enough to even want another...

Aggy360 (115), Anchorage/ Vista,CA, Alaska, USA Jul 10, 2009 On tap at the brewery. The name says it all. This pours dark. The nose is of coffee grounds and is nice. I don’t even like coffee. The taste is of dark roasted malt and coffee. Thin body, almost watery. Not bad for a coffee beer. markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Jun 16, 2009 22oz from trade with kersta8. Pours dark black with a fizzy tan head. Nose is coffee, spice, and some dark, bitter chocolate. Flavor is a lot of coffee, some bitter chocolate, and a moderate amount of spice. Roast lingers in this medium-bodied porter. Interesting and balanced beer. kiefdog (1534), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 9, 2009 Bomber courtesy of markwise. Pours a murky dark brown to black with a huge one finger tan head that settles slowly but laces the glass. Aroma is malty and roasty with notes of coffee, chocolate, cooked veggies, ripe dark fruit, peas, toffee and lighter notes of caramel and light spice. Flavor is sweet and roasty with coffee, caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, coffee beans. Generaly medium to full body with pleasing malty coffee finish.
