Bommer thanks to blackdonald. For a “coffee” porter the coffee was very subtle. Nice smooth feel but a bit watery. but very pleasant still. On the porter side it is lighter. I still recommend this.

Jul 21, 2008 On tap at the brewery July 11. I truly appreciated this although I am not a coffee drinker. Nice and roasty with chocolate. Very easy to drink, I can see how someone working 3rd shift might want one of these after work for breakfast!

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep, dark reddish /brown, nice tan head. Aroma is coffee, roast and chocoalte. Flavor is a nice roasted coffee, sweet and tasty chocolate hangs in the background.

Jul 7, 2008 Bomber. Dark brown pour with a few centimeters brown head. Only a slight bit of coffee in the aroma. Not nearly as much as expected or hoped for. Roasted malt and chocolate also present. A little too carbonated. This is the type of beer for people who like to buy designer coffee drinks at coffee shops.

Jul 6, 2008 The color was a thick black. The head was thin and light beige, The aroma was very strong coffee, sweet, chocolate, and roasty. The flavor was coffee, roasty, and malty. The palate was smooth and full. The finish was roasty.

Jul 5, 2008 Bomber. Pours translucent dark brown with a thin but dense and lacy tan head. Big aroma and taste of coffee, cocoa, brown sugar. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. Crisp and refreshing espresso finish.
