Commercial Description:
Vicious and viscous, this menacing brew pours opaque black with a creamy maduro-colored head. Its aroma offers seductive whiskey, chewy red wine, dark fruit and lavish tobacco. Berserker Imperial Stout invades your taste buds with in-your-face flavor. Weighing in at almost 13% alcohol by volume, Berserker is completely out-of-control. Give it a good fight.
This version of Berserker Imperial Stout was aged in both red wine and whiskey barrels. The entire batch was brought back together before being packaged in kegs and 22-oz bottles.

Much thanks to hopdog for sharing this beauty. 2007 version... Appears black with caramel brown edges and a dark tan head. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of raisins, cocoa, vanilla, mocha, and oak. Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a peanut flavor that is also standing out in the complex flavors. Mouthfeel is smooth, chewy, raisiny, bourbony, and outright beautiful. This one is a winner. Seek it out.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with puzzl (thanks!!!). 2007 vintage. Poured a dark black color with an averaged sized light brown head. Aromas of roast, vanilla, chocolate, oak, light coffee, and dark fruits. Tastes of roast, vanilla, wood, dark fruits, and chocolate. Creamy and smooth body. Alcohol content well hidden. Nice.

Poured an opaque black color with a medium sized, tan head, that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, dried dark fruits, roasted malts, chocolate, and some alcohol as well. Taste of more vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, roasted malts, with smoke, and moderate alcohol as well. Chalky, creamy smooth mouthfeel, thanks Steve!

This is a jet black pour with a brown head. The flavor is complex: bittersweet chocolate, anise, vanilla, and whiskey, it’s pretty darn nice.

Bottle. 2005 vintage. Pitch black with a mocha-brown small head. Leafy aroma including some caramel, toffee, coffee, and vegetal doughiness. Chewy, viscous flavour - lots of coffee, some alcohol, and plenty of hop stickiness. Quite sweet though balanced in many respects.

Thanks Puzzl for sharing this one at this CL RB gathering. Black in color with a medium to dark brown head. Aroma jumps out at you, tons of chocolate, moderate roast, caramel, molasses. Taste is also, alot of chocolate, roast, caramel, with a very full thick body, bittersweet. Finishes roasty and bitter. Excellent beer.
