COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vicious and viscous, this menacing brew pours opaque black with a creamy maduro-colored head. Its aroma offers seductive whiskey, chewy red wine, dark fruit and lavish tobacco. Berserker Imperial Stout invades your taste buds with in-your-face flavor. Weighing in at almost 13% alcohol by volume, Berserker is completely out-of-control. Give it a good fight.

Also labeled under the "Alaskaís Most Wanted" series.

Shared bottle with Timfoolery at City Beer in SF. This is probaby the best beer Iíve ever had. Pours a dark brown almost black and smelled of molasses and anise with a hint of chocolate. Looks like it was aged awhile. It was incredibly smooth on the palate and just a malt lovers delight. Tobacco, chocolate, and molasses dominted the flavor. I need to find another bottle of this. WOW!!!

Smells of malted milk balls (Whoppers) and slightly of sour milk. Tastes like it smells. Mouthfeel is thin to oily with a medium body. Maybe this bottle went bad or was somehow infected, because Iíd heard praise of this beer that does not comport with my experience.

Medium to thick body with good carbonation, very sticky on the palate, smooth mouthfeel. Very good.

Large shared bottle. Fine looking beer that looks, and is, quite thick. Essentially black and opaque body with a decent head. Strong, rich flavor. Very full body, but not as viscous as the CCB Hunaphu I had just minutes before.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2016 Bottle from 2012 (rating from memory). Shared with Herr Angstmann. Best at cellar temperature, so a bit colder than room temp, but I guess thatís true with most good beers. Pours thick motor oily black deliciousness. Molasses, tobacco, dulce de leche, coffee, dark chocolate and more. Alcohol is insanely well hidden considering the 13%. At the time my favorite imperial stout to date, and a few years later it is still up there. I canít wait to try this again (if I ever get the chance). Finally had it again -- really good but didnít quite live up to the memory, I must have romatacized it a little bit. An amazing beer but a bit abrasive with the tobacco taste and as a result the mouthfeel suffers a little bit.

very dark brown pour. chocolate fluff head. aroma raisins port, maple, brown sugar, milk caramel. Tastes sweet silage, oats, hay, char, iron. Great balance between sweet syrupy mouthfeel with touch of wine like dry. alcohol stands out on itís own, but is smooth and warm.
