COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vicious and viscous, this menacing brew pours opaque black with a creamy maduro-colored head. Its aroma offers seductive whiskey, chewy red wine, dark fruit and lavish tobacco. Berserker Imperial Stout invades your taste buds with in-your-face flavor. Weighing in at almost 13% alcohol by volume, Berserker is completely out-of-control. Give it a good fight.

Also labeled under the "Alaska’s Most Wanted" series.

Deep black body, large dark chocolaty brown head, spotty lacing. Nose is complex with bourbon, vanilla, oak, molasses, chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, and tobacco. Flavor is similarly deep...impressively so. An abundance of semi-sweet malts: chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, and molasses. And plenty of pleasant bourbon barrel note. Full bodied, smooth carbonation, slick on the tongue, surprisingly mellow heat. I was not expecting this to be this good.

Bottle: poured a silky sludge black with a whispering auburn head. Aroma had blast of oak bourbon molasses dark stone fruit vanilla. Awesome flavors throughout the beer. Very balanced oak malt and wasn't overpowered with malt! Great beer

Vanille und Kaffee im weichen Antrunk, vollmundig, massiv malzig. Die Bourbonnoten sind gegen das massive Malz nur nebensächlich, insgesamt daher rund. Weiterhin Kaffee, geringe Alkoholigkeit. Etwas trocken zum Ende, Kakao. 10/11/8/11/9/11

Bottle in my hotel room. Pours opaque black with a small, fizzy brown head, medium retention with spare lacing. Aroma is roast and chocolate malt, figs, prunes, maple syrup, oak notes, earthy and spicy hops with light bourbon notes. Flavor is sweet and rich dark malt and fruits, dark chocolate, lightly bitter, light earthy hops and bitterness, bourbon notes, faint maple syrup and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation. A substantial beer and a bit sweet for my liking.

Bottle pours a dark brown, copper hues. Small tan head fades to a ring. Aromas of dark berries, molasses, syrup, oak and vanilla. Taste is pretty sweet upfront with loads of molasses and syrup....almost a bit much before the oak, bourbon and vanilla come in...nice mellow alcohol warmth into the finish. Solid stuff.

Draft @ City Beer Store on 2/3/15. Pours black as night with minimal brown head and some lacing. Aroma is bourbon, molasses, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and dark fruit. Full bodied beer, but smooth as velvet. Palate is a luscious blend of molasses, bourbon, roasted malt, with hints of vanilla, chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. This beer should be enjoyed often, but slowly and in small quantities. The alcohol content is fairly hight, but well hidden in the flavor palate.

Bottle. Pours a near-black color with a moderate darker brown head on there (with a fairly aggressive pour). Nose is quite roasty with some wood elements poking through along with dark fruit and hints of licorice. Taste is smooth and chocolatey with some roasty and whiskey elements to it. Really interesting beer.

Poured from a 22. Aroma is chocolatey and boozy. Aroma is boozy with a sweet-ish chocolate finish. The flavor is a bit too boozy for me but the chocolatey finish is pretty great!
