| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2005 Pours a rusty tan with a huge creamy head that never fades. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, english yeast fruitiness, and a clean sweet maltiness. Flavor is the same as the aroma but with a slight addition of spicy hops. The hop aroma and flavor is much less then I would expect from a standard IIPA. The fruitiness is an interesting twist. The finish is a balanced fruitiness and the aftertaste slowly grows bitter cleaning the palate for another sip. Seemed almost like and english IPA recipe that happened to use West Coast hops. brewbandit (312), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2005 Light amber body with good head. Heavy hop presence on the nose with same on initial taste. Light malt balances the hops through the middle with a smooth balanced finish. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Doesn’t have the piney/hoppy aroma that is typical from a IIPA. Hazy yellow orange. Excellent lace. Very nice at mid glass. Fresh. A little cloying at the back of the tongue. Thanks to Slikwily for including this in his package of beers for my Winter Tating party. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA
