4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 ounce bottle. Pours a deep ruby color with a awesome thick foamy white head. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel and sweet earthy fresh hops. The flavor is great; rich berries and caramel malts, smooth citrus hops, sweeter hops, oranges and light spices. This is my kind of Christmas. Certainly some brown sugar and huge hops. Awesome. Very drinkable.

Flarra.

Gott gotteligottgott!!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared bomber poured to snifters, showing a fairly clear, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of off white foam, and spotty lacing. The nose was dank & earthy, with a bit of citrus & resin, and some mellowing, honey sweetness. Medium bodied, with average carbonation, the taste included a moderate, earthy & rindy, hop bitterness, some gin-like character, and fair alcohol presence undoubtedly amped by the added fermentables. Not all that "imperial", but a decent enough IPA.

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Very good aroma and pours with a good amount of off white head.
I cannot put my finger on the qualities I would expect from an imperial IPA. The beer looks a little murky, I think I got the bottom half of the bottle. I can see a fair amount of carbonation. Has a certain amount of body on the first sip, but, the taste disappears fairly quickly off the pallet.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"imperial ipa with brown sugar, honey and juniper berries. 85 ibu. darker in appearance and better balanced, though the hops are lively and fresh. bottled 9/2010. honey is the main player, then brown sugar, with just a hint of the berries coming through. nice beer, but nice don’t cut it at $12 a pop."

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a orangish red, lots of off-white head. Nose slight, with some fruity and resinous character, malt, too. Body surprisingly slight, with a fruity and malty finish. Thought this would be a lot thicker and syrup-like, pleasantly surprised.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumized slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, caramelly with some floral, nectary and mild ripe fruity notes. Flavour is big time hops, caramel, toffee and a quite big bitterness o it. Still nicely balanced and very refreshing to drink.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours dark unclear amber in color like iced tea with a beige head. Aroma brings malts, juniper in a spruce like fashion, and the sweetness from brown sugar and/or honey. Flavors bring hops mixed with sweet malts and honey blended well on a perfectly balanced body.
