Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA Feb 8, 2006 Updated: Feb 13, 2006Two year old bottle supplied by the way too generous TAR, thanks again jeff.Crisp yellow body with a resilent white head. This makes my nose happier than anything that I’ve ever put in it. Orange sherbert and vanilla ice cream, just so damn enticing. Flavor wise this is solid, some vanilla and melon with lemon and tapioca. A nice yeast in the finish. Wow, this is amazing. One of those beers I’d rather smell than drink, yet still tastes great.

bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Jan 19, 2006 "Okay not sure what to do with this one, its called a Tripel, that i am not buying. As a beer though, good. Poured a red/orange color with a creamy head which lasted the entire beer. Aroma was of apples and grapes. The flavor shocked me, apples a honey and vinilla. Not super sweet with a hop finish which was done right. Like i said not a typical Tripel, but good beer." bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jan 11, 2006 (Bottle) Pours an orangish-brown body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, apple, and honey. Flavor of malt, apple, alcohol, cookie dough, and a hint of butterscotch. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Dec 31, 2005 Dark Amber Coloring with White Head. Belgian Yeasty and Gruit Aroma. On the Tongue...Champagne-Like..Dry Grapes..Dry Mouthfeel Overall. Nice Take on a Tripel! badgerben (3586), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Dec 29, 2005 Red color with a thin head. The aroma screams of an impending corriander slurry. Surprisingly enough, the spice fades into a nice, light malt flavor that has a bit of sourness to it. Usually hate this style, but quite nice. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 26, 2005 This bottled brew bottled on 03/03 poured a almost all foam foamy finely sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was hazy and orange brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of wheat floral malt . Its mouth feel is initially tingly vinous malt with a lingering tingly palate and a malt bite aftertaste. Its flavor contained vinous thick malty mildly yeasty mild orange notes and was very tasty. All-in-all very nice brew. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Dec 17, 2005 GABF 05. Pours a light gold with a thin white head. Lots of banana and clove in the aroma with some pepper and other yeasty notes. Complex flavor of yeast, phenolics, esters, light pils malt and a light earthy hop bitterness. Surprisingly clean overall, and finishes a bit sweet. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Dec 4, 2005 Somewhat sweet caramel aroma, along with some fermantation. Medium to dark caramel colored body with good head. Caramel flavor with some slight sournessand had an alcohol warming effect. Caramel aftertaste left on palate.
