Commercial Description:
Voluptuous yet elegant, Epluche-culotte Trippel exudes its free spirit with orangey-amber color topped with a creamy white head. The aroma is sweet, spicy and earthy. The addition of Curacao (bitter) orange peel and whole coriander infuse color, citrus and spice while a special Belgian yeast strain imparts other enticing flavors and aromas during fermentation. Bottle conditioning creates the right effervescence for a perfectly heady experience. In the style of a Belgian Trippel, Epluche-culotte is delicious yet spirited. Originally named Extreme Polar White Bier, it got nicknamed "Panty Peeler" . We say it in French: E'pluche-culotte. The joyride awaits.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing light orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and hops. The flavor has notes of straw, spices, and dusty hops on a powerful sweet malty background.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a hazy, golden with a tall, dense and lasting, off-white head. Aroma of fruit - banana in particular - and yeast. Medium body with fruity and yeasty flavours. The finish is distinctly bitter. Not the world’s most refined Tripel. 230407

Slightly appley, orangey. Quite sweet. Alcoholic, peppery notes and basic malts. This is straightforward, unadventurous tripel, with an accent on spices and alcohol. There are dozens of better ones, IMO.

Cloudy blond color. The aroma has some spices. The flavor is quite true to style, dry, spicy (coriander), but also with a very light sourness (wrong).
