Tasted 5/20/10. 22oz bomber. Filtered yet lively body with a bright golden hue. Layer of bubbly head. Aromas of pepper and citrus. Rather full bodied despite the age. Big pepper flavors with notes of citrus candy. Bitter and tangy palate. Still holding after all this time!

Bottled (From Cracked Kettle). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee, fruits and some yeast, spices. Nice balance in the aroma. Flavour is caramel malts, toffee, fruits, earth, some pleasant spicyness. A very wellmade Belgoclone.

Bomber, courtesy Americanbrew. This one pours a hazy golden yellow color topped by a small white head of foam that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of apples, bready yeast, candy sugar, pear, and some floral hop bitterness. The flavor follows showing more apples and pears to go with the candied sugar and bready yeast. Some earthy and floral hops add balancing bitterness. Medium bodied and finely carbonated and fairly easy to drink by hiding the alcohol nicely. Nothing crazy, but still a nice brew.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Sweet fruit esters, banana and apple skins with some light pear notes. Sweet and fruity with a drier bread y character towards the finish, and then a mild etoh and apple warming. MS can do better.

Pours a dense cheddar orange with an aroma of light, fluffy yeast and orange peel. Flavor is metallic yeast, like a piece of wet copper-filled bread. Tingly but thin on the tongue. Too metallic.

Had at RBWG 2010. Cream corn dipped in popcorn and vomit. Not blown away here.

22 oz bottle. Misty golden brown with a creamy white froth. Nose is yeast, banana pudding and candied lemon peel. Spritzy medium light, soft and slippery. Taste is green banana, citrus pith and celery. Simple but nicely executed. Reminded me of Westie Blond.

Sampled at the Oct Houston RB tasting thanks to maltomeal. Very pale yellow. Nose is fruity, spicy. Taste is very sweet, tangy, and very alcoholic. Good beer but a bit sweet for my taste.

bottle thanks to brewboone. Shared this at the Houston RB Tasting in October. Pours a clear golden color with a thin, white head. Nose is of yeast and spices, especially pepper, and lemon. Taste is of pepper, spice and lemon. Mouthfeel is dry and carbonated. Interesting.
