Had at RBWG 2010. Cream corn dipped in popcorn and vomit. Not blown away here.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 17, 2011
Bottle:   By the time I poured the remainder of the bottle this one was very cloudy, straw in color, slightly golden (sharper and clearer earlier in the pour), with a frothy white head.   Lacing was spotty.   Bright bready nose, slight alcohol floralness.   Very bready and yeasty on the tongue, bright, a little doughy even.   Has a bit of basement like mustiness to it as well.   A little astringent on the backside.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   This one isn’t as bright or floral as other Belgian Goldens, but its okay.   For an American made version, its not bad at all.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 egajdzis (4896) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2007
Poured a hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, spices, bread, citrus fruits, and some honey as well. Taste of honey, citrus fruits, coriander, grains of paradise, and yeast, with ginger, still some bitter hops, and a bit of alcohol in the finish.

Bottle. Hazy dark gold with a tight white head. Good aroma is spicy, yeasty, with bready pale malts and a whiff of barnyard. Medium body. Good earthy yeasty bready pale malt flavors are on the dry side. Has a peppery spicy finish. Easy drinking strong ale.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Thorpe429 (4844) - , Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2012
Bottle from Healthy Spirits into a Midnight Sun goblet.
Pours a beautiful golden color with a massive fluffy white head that sticks around for 15+ minutes. Loads and loads of lacing on the way down. The beer itself is perfectly clear with plenty of visible carbonation bubbles for the duration.
Unfortunately, the rest of the beer isn’t quite as good. The nose brings some very light fruit notes plus a touch of alcohol and some nice phenols. Not much depth or complexity. The flavor is quite similar. Some fruit and pepper there, but the yeast isn’t expressive enough.
Body is light-medium with high carbonation and an odd dryness to the finish. It’s not quite crisp given how high in carbonation it is. As it warms, this appears to be a bit of graininess and accompanying tannins.
Overall, this is just okay, though extraordinarily impressive in its Duvel-like appearance.

Bomber. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. The aroma is sweet Pils malts, some spiciness and mellow Noble hops. The flavor is very nice; I get some tropical fruit, very sweet Pils malts, light spices. A great example of the style.

22 oz. bottle shared by dbsdelight- thanks again, Dan! Says it was bottled 6-6-6 and then Keir bought it in 2008 and gave it to Dan, the master cellar man. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a small white head. Aroma of sweet and pale malts, candi sugar, honey, apricots, peaches, and light, spicy Belgian yeast. Flavor of the same malts and fruits, candi sugar, spicy yeast, pepper, and straw. Dry finish. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet, dry mouthfeel. This has held up great for 5 years. Probably won’t get better but it’s nice right now.

Poured a mostly clear deep golden color with a large off-white head. The aroma was spicy and yeasty with mild fruity notes. The aroma was dry. The flavor was also dry with a yeasty and spicy hop finish. Very lively mouth feel. Light to medium body with nice warmth.

Thanks to hopdog for sharing this one despite his original plan to keep me away from it :) Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a smaller bubbly whtie head. Aroma was a mix of tea, mixed citrus, spices, floral notes and Belgian yeast. Flavor was on the yeast side with some mixed spiciness, some citrus, moderate bitterness and tea notes.
