Bottle from brewery, 2016 batch. Medium Amber beer, nice white head. Aroma is wheat, malt, resin, citrus. Taste is spicy resin, lemon, fwhispernof banana. Palate is quite rich, carbonation subdued and fine. Finish is hoppy dry like an IPA, with and undercurrent of malt.

Pours a hazy burnt orangish brown color with a white head. Citrus, wheat, floral and pine aroma. Resin, pine, grapefruit, mango, orange, wheat, toast, floral and dank hop flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Decently bitter. Citrus, resin and bitter hop finish.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately to heavily hoppy (grapefruit, resin), lightly yeasty (dough), with a note of alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic, lightly astringent. Pretty simple and uneventful. Typical resin-grapefruit hop bomb in the nose. Typical brutish DIPA flavor balance. Ok but not that interesting.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Rosser. Hazy straw colour, thick white head. Pleasant sweet orange and pine hop character, with a surprisingly chewy malty body, bitter finish. Rosser wasn’t that impressed, but Parksy and I really enjoyed it.

Draft pour at the Seattle Taphouse. Rating from notes. Pours a clear shiny golden color with a fading foam head. I love the hop pun beer names by the way. I hope this is a trend that sees no end any time soon. I have a few ideas for some myself. Very wheat winish flavor. Grainy finish. Sweet, citrus, and flavorful. Good beer here.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow orange with a white head. Beer was a little to carbonated. Aroma had nice mixture of citrus and pine with undertones of wheat. Taste was bitter earthy floral and citrusy pine with light malt sweetness. Refreshing

Poured from 1pint 6fl oz bottle. Golden orange with white head. Subtle balance between the sweet and bitter, a very mild funk sits in the background. A little citrus, a little pine, a little malt.

definitely more double ipa than wheat beer, and suffers in comparison (and price) to the brooklyn-schneider hopfenweisse. For $10, this ended up a pretty average beer. Some of that may be due to it being bottled in August, but the next beer we had from them was a belgian ipa bottled in may - and it seemed fresher. this one had some bitter hops in it, but they were not floral, or very aromatic. some citrus and wheat came through in the flavor. even if i see a fresh one, i’ll pass on this in the future."

Bottle from Whole Foods, Lynnwood
cloudy deep blond color with generous compact head. Piney and pungent hopping, with lean and elegant pale malt backbone, plenty of fruits and hop resins.
Perfect IIPA, fresh, easy to drink.
