May 14, 2008 Courtesy of gunhaver. Pours deep brown with tan head. Yep, as expected the aroma has a lot of notes as pointed out in the name of the beer with chocolate, roasted malts, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices. I think the notes go pretty well together. The taste has pumpkin mixed with dark roasty malts and some rich dark chocolate and malt roastiness. Nice tasting brew that would go nicely for dessert.

May 12, 2008 Thanks for sharing Jake. Just not a big fan of this beer. I think part of this has to be with the fact that I am just not a big fan or the style, or porters in general. Rich caramel maltiness, with some pumpkins spices int he background, with a bit of mild cinnamon and anise. The finish is slightly bland and quite thin.

May 11, 2008 Bottle courtesy gunhaver. Pours black with a small tan head. Huge aroma of pumpkin pie, roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is the same as aroma with a touch of caramel. Medium full mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness and smooth alcohol. Strange and different but good.

May 10, 2008 22oz bottle, 7.8% ABV, 30IBUs, Vintage 2007. Pours dark brown. Big pumpkin pie aroma. nice spice. Chocolate - pumpkin. Flavor is rich squash flavors. Great character. Finishes with chocolate. I just love pumpkin beers.

May 6, 2008 Chocolate, spice and pumpkin aroma. Super rich pumpkin pie flavor. Very little hoppiness; dry and tart finish. A unique beer with a long name, but it’s great tasting stuff!
