Sampled from a magnum bottle we got at the brewery poured into champagne flutes. Hazy golden color with a bit ivory head. Yeasty nose with some spritzy sweetness. Noticable alcohol in the taste, with pear, apple sauce and bready yeast. Sweet malt with a finish of bitter orange. Very lively on the tongue. Really thick tripel.

A slightly cloudy golden orange color with a big white head. A slightly funky aroma to this. Quite yeasty with some hints of spice and bready malt. Maybe some hints of sugar. The flavor is nicely sweet with a definite yeasty quality. Some hints of spice and maybe a bit of oxidation. Medium and medium.

750ml bottle. Clearish deep golden with a huge, thick, creamy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of sugar, herbal tea, lemon, apple and some earthy yeast. Flavor is sweet honey malt and sugar with some tart cider and yeast hints. Medium body with active carbonation. This is an interesting beer, it seems that some cider and herbal tea qualities have come out in this with age. I’ve had this beer 3-4 times and I would have to say this bottle had the most carbonation, which was a good thing.

Nice crisp dryness from the carb. Great beer.

750mL with a big thanks to CaptainCougar. Definitely a rare and expensive little treat. The pour is outstanding with a massive, off-white head that has insane retention and massive lace. Perfect. Aroma is light Brett, citrus, hay, lemon/lime. Taste is sweet, some oddities like overripe cantaloupe and jackfruit, and then there is some serious bitterness that is not expected. Extreme hoppy bitterness doesn’t mix well with the overripe melon character. Some other oddities come forth like puppy breath.

Bottle shared at Pilsner Pete’s gathering almost a year ago. Pours clear apricot. Nose of floral citrus, lemon and yeast. Taste of fruit, yeast, juniper, lemon and spices.
