Taste: Dark malts with a sweetish blend of caramel, chocolate, and whole milk questionably close to the expiration date. Mild earthy bitterness. Splash of fresh coffee. Lightly sweet, chocolatey finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Shag (1750), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Jun 4, 2008 A solid black appearance with a moderate tan head. The aroma is chocolate, cookies, and some coffee. The flavor contains some chocolate, oatmeal raisin cookies. The palate is a bit thin and the finish is sweet. Overall a decent stout. CaptainCougar (4601), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 25, 2008 Bottle thanks to timmcd64: Pours a mostly opaque with dark mahogany edges. Aroma of toasted dark caramel malts with some bready doughy character and milk chocolate. Body starts with a decent dark caramel malty sweetness and a good balance of roasty chocolate and raisins with a touch of bready yeast. Finishes drier, toasty and bittersweet. A nice stout.
