On tap at the brewery. Pours an amber shade with a trim off-white head. Smells and tastes primarily of hops and pepper with an added note of cream on the mid palate. The alcohol is well masqued. Not bad.

Clear amber color/ white head. Sweet yeasty dark bread, fruit cake aromas. medium bodied. Nice bready, yeasty, pit fruit sweet flavors with a hint of spicy booze in the finish.

Tap @ MSBC. Amber/brown with a tiny head. Aroma of sweet bready malt, lightly earthy hops and a fruity scent that probably is coming from the yeast. Flavor is mostly all sweet malt with a very light bitterness and some alcohol. Medium body and average carbonation. This one hides the alcohol fairly well but you still know it’s there, especially after a full glass.

Had a sample of this from a growler recently courtesy of, "AKFaust". Colour... golden with no head. Nose... dried orchard fruits, dates and honeycomb. Palate... light CO2, sweet, yet bitter, stone fruits, sugar cubes, caramel squares and a bittersweet finish.

Draft at Midnight Sun Brewery. Pours clear with a leathery brown tone. Aroma of brown sugar, some raisins, maple syrup and molasses. Flavor is more of the same, with a sweetness that isn’t cloying, but still very sweet. Caramel, brown sugar and other dark sugary flavors rule this brew. Very nice.
