Bomber thanks to the unloading AndyReynolds - cocoa flames. Lingering heat but not much of a kick in the nards. Bite weakens with every sip.

Bottle shared by Pinsky, 10/28/15. Dark brown color with a light brown head. Chocolate malts come through on the aroma. Spice and a little coffee. Flavor-wise, the spice really dominates. Heavy peppery/spice and heat are number one, while the chocolate is a strong two. Not what I expected. I thought the chocolate would be stronger, but I still like this beer.

22 oz. bottle, pours deep dark brown / black with a small tan head and loads of chunky sediment. Nose brings out a good mix of cocoa, cinnamon and chilis. Flavour brings out a good mix of chocolate and spicy peppers upfront, with a touch of cinnamon further back. Well-balanced, with the spiciness pretty prominent but not detracting. There is a ton of sediment in here that becomes rather nasty towards the finish. Good beer, but not really to my taste.

Poured from a bomber obtained from Tavour into a snifter. Aroma is of malt and chocolate. More milk chocolate than dark. Appearance is dark brown almost black with a very small tan head that dissipates rapidly. Taste is of chocolate a bit of funk but the main component is heat. This makes you feel like you have a sore throat. You get a burn deep in the throat and some burn on the lips and tongue. Spicy is an understatement. Once the head dissipates there is an oily film. I assume it is from what is making the heat. The beer does not have the nasty oily presence found in other pepper beers. Palate is nice ... what I’d expect from a strong ale. Overall I like this beer. It has a nice heat to it. Would be great to have with some mexican spicy food. Give a try if you never had. Well worth the experience. Cheers!

Poured from a bomber into a snifter brown black with a very minimal head. Aroma chocolate dipped bell pepper. Flavor is flat out awesome. Dark cocoa here with a touch of sweetness and ton of chili pepper at the finish. Like. WHOA!!! feel like I have a sore throat after comsuming. LOVE THIS STUFFF!! Excellent blend of flavors. Grateful have a spare bomber to share at our next tasting.

Bottle, shared by Eugene. Really kick-ass spice component that doesn’t overpower the chocolaty goodness of the rest of the beer. Didn’t get a look at the label until now, but I do wonder how typical the orgy is of a modern romance. Whatever, spice is rad, chocolate is good, palate is slightly lacking, but I would definitely go back for seconds on this one.

Draft 12 oz pour at The Collective. Pours a near black with a tan fizz ring head. Sweet sugar caramel malt aroma. Flavor has a whole lot going on. Has a spice to it, which I love, but also has a sweet cherry tone to it. Trying to have a sour note. A lot of the spice kick comes in late. Chile pepper like. Suprised. Very interesting. Big chocolate background. Has a burn to it that I’m unsure if ist the alcohol or the pepper. Or both. Either way, incredible beer.

22, capped. Pours nearly jet black with a dense and creamy dark tan head that fades. Big dark sweet cocoa and dark chocolate nose, with earthy warm pepper way, way in the background. Creamy thick body, heavy. Soft carb. Cocoa and dark chocolate dominate the mid-palate, with pleasant roastiness and a tiny hint of coffee. Earthy dark pepper warmth comes up near the finish, filling the mouth but not in an overwhelming way at all. Long warm peppery chocolatey finish. Very appealing and very easy to knock back.

What does the label infer, the twisted guys and gals all wrapped around each other. Where are our morals, people? Black as night, little to no foam, and slightly fizzy in the mouth, this beer from the makers of Berzerker is enjoyable most in the way it lingers long on the finish A mild burn with bakers chocolate, ash I couldn’t get a nose on this, something akin to a damp cloth that’d been in the kitchen for two days

Bottle. Black beer with a tan head. Dark chocolate aroma. Chili and chocolate flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Big spicy chili lingers with chocolate.
