Bomber at City Beer. Dark brown in color with a lasting light beige head. Nice aroma of dark fruits and anise with roast and some slight Belgian notes. Very good complex flavor. Berries, prune, and overripe fruits, roasted malt, and oak. Medium-full body with smooth mouthfeel and medium-low carbonation. Very good stuff, more mellow than the regular version for sure.

Aroma is oak, must, toasted malt, candied sugar, muffled unidentifiable spices, and a light clove like yeast smell on the finish. Taste is sweet malt up front with a fair of of spice and bite from the alcohol. There is some bitterness as well with thick, dark fruit flavors (maybe plum). Sipper for sure. Enjoyable.
