Jun 15, 2008 Bottle courtesy of blackdonald. Pours dark brwon with a light tan head. Smells of pumpkin pie spice, touches of pudding, chocolate, some peppery splashes. Tastes of pumpkin pie, some oaky hints, punpkin pie spice, sweet malt, some toffee. Nice!

Jun 11, 2008 Dark brown in color with a tan head. Pumpkin heavily in the smell also some chocolate and spices. Taste is the same as the smell. Did not notice the alcohol. Its like having liquid dessert.

May 16, 2008 Bottle. Thanks to Andy. Deep dark brown in color with a little head. Chocolatety roasty aroma. Pumpkiny spicy notes. Roasty malty chocolatety flavor. Clove notes Swset tasting. Finish is spicy. Medium bodied. Very drinkable.

May 15, 2008 Bottle, thanks to puzzl for sharing this spectacle. Black pour, no head. Aroma is sweet malt, nice spiced pumpkin, a small amount of roasted malt, and sweet milk chocolate. Flavor has hints of wood, lots of sweet chocolate, light roast, and a little bit of the pumpkin spicing is still there (although not as apparent as in the aroma). I enjoyed this style more than any imperial stout I have had recently.

May 14, 2008 Bottle from my sis, shared with a few folks. Delicious aroma, every smell yields a different flavor. Reads just like the label, along with some peanut brittle and potato. Body is totally smooth, very mellow, light spices and subtle milk chocolate. Not bid by any means, but very complex, relaxed, just a great drinker. Wish this beer was easily available.

May 14, 2008 Updated: Aug 19, 2008Bottle, thanks to Andy. Not much head. Aroma is mostly Chocolate. Flavor is basically what the label says. Its a bit acidic with still tons of chocolate. Not overly impressed.

May 12, 2008 I have to say that this was much better than the regular version. Something about the barrel aging really brought a lot out of this beer. The vanilla notes jsut cascaded to the top upon opening this bottle. Lots of earth and herbal spices abound as well, and then the pumpkin comes out following last of the bunch. The carbonation is smooth, and the mouthfeel is quite creamy, with some rich roasted chocolate notes.
