Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Strong aroma of citrus hop over sweet malt. Ruby amber color with a decent off-white head. Near full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is citrus hop and bready malt. Hop grabs and won’t let go. Finishes dry, more or less, but really nicely bitter. Excellent drink.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium amber color with a larger sized off white head. Wow, nice hop aromas of pine, citrus, and floral green hops. Tastes of pine, caramel, citrus, and floral. Hop lovers like me should enjoy this one!

Bottle sampled on 5/22/08: Pours a transparent orange golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and assertive resiny piny notes. Body starts with good fullness and crisp grapefruity bittering and flavor hops toward a drier finish. A nice imperial IPA.

Draught No head, deep foxy-amber beer. Very citrussy hopsnose with much orange peel; some exotic pears. Very dry orangerind hops; bitterness à gogo. Very dry indeed, approaching dry-out effect. OK, Alaska is W.C. too.

Marvellously balanced, tasty high hop beer. Very drinkable, no my favourite style but outstanding for what it is. Pours grapefruit colour, decent head, and significant hop aromas. Easy mouthfeel and drinking, secondary malt is well integrated.

Bomber poured a clear copper with a lasting light amber head leaving good lace as I drink it. Aromas of pine, orange, carmel, tangerine and light earthiness.Palate was mediuym bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of pine, carmel, pink grapefruit and tangerines with a smooth slightly dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle. Amber pour. Aroma is tropical fruits, grapefruit and malt. Flavor is hoppy and malty and has some great tropical fruits. This is a fine, fine beverage!

Bomber. Poured medium-dark orange with a creamy cap of off-white head. The aroma was really, really juicy with floral, pine, and perfumey notes over pale malts and nice caramelization.. great balance throughout. The flavor also had a nice balance between the juicy hops and the rich base.. caramelly notes and pale malts at the core with pine, grapefruit, and floral bitterness around.. memorable finish with more of the bitterness. Medium-bodied and bitter on the palate with just enough support.. really, really good stuff!

Bomber from hopdog. Thanks dude! Pours cloudy orange brown with a nice bubbly head. Aromas are strongly hopped with notes of pine, grapefruit, cat piss, and floral notes. Some pale malt too. Bitterness up front with lots of pine, grapefruit, and perfume followed by a light sweet caramel and pale malts, finishes with more pine, perfume, grapefruit, pepper, and cat. Dry, resiny, lingering bitter/spicy pepper. Medium carbonation renders this one insanely drinkable. I like that the brewers toned down the gravity but didn’t skimp on the hops making a great big bitter IIPA that is not sweet at all, has a nice light maltiness, and is insanely drinkable. Call me crazy, but a little similar to Pliny the Elder? Would love to try them side to side. This beer reminds me why I love IIPA’s.
