Bottle thanks to savnac, thanks for another great offering Ira! Pour is a fairly light golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is also fairly light with hints of mango, floral notes, light cookie malt, and faint honey notes. Very soft and subtle all around. Flavor is also quite soft. Hints of floral hop with hints of cookie malt and light pine notes. Very easy to drink and refreshing.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 presario (4137) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 19, 2012
Big bottle. Poor gluing on the label. Attractive rich amber and white foam head. A bit of a light rough hop aroma does not give any hint to an expected extreme beer. (As a side note I still only have 2 points from 6 guys and 3 games in the Rangers-Devils series.) Big heavy hop flavour. Some bitterness and a lot of medicine in the back of the throat that really lingers. I think Midnight Sun needs to do a collaboration with Lagunitas to get the joy from the hop oil. More aof a sipper than a quaffer. Restrained malt is nice. Hops miss the flavour mark a bit for me, a little rough and soapy.

(Bottle) Pours hazy orange with an off-white head. The aroma holds hoppy tones of lemon, peppery lemon peel, grapefruit peel, green apples and wood up front with undertones tart/unripe yellow fruits, grass, green leafs, peppery spices, citric herbs, white bread and dough. The flavour light sweet to dry, medium bitter and light acidic with notes of citrus, green fruits, grass, fresh wood herbs, pepper, crackers and light bread. The mouthfeel is clean, soft and tart with a astringent finish. Light carbonation. Grapefruit peel, woodsy and cracker-like finish. Light to medium bodied.

650 ml bottle courtesy of Marsiblursi. Pours hazy pale golden with a big frothy white head that leaves lots of trace and lacing while slowly dissipating. Smell is tiny sweet, tiny sour, herbal and fruity with lemon juice, sichuan pepper, orange zest, lemon balm, thai basil, green apples, lemon balm and hints of rubber. Taste is sweet and bitter with honey sweetened bread, lemon grass, alcohol, apples, rose pepper, lemon zest, slightly dried grass, green grapes and fresh green herbs. Mouthfeel is smooth, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with pine, freshly cut grass, orange peal and a mix of black and rose pepper. Interesting concept which sadly is a bit too boozy in the taste.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of pungent tropical fruits (mango, pineapple, grapefruit) and lots of sweetened malt to back. Super fresh flavours of pineapple, mango, peach and grapefruit clobber the palate, though backed with lots caramel malt. Also some dried fruits in there like dates and figs. Not the most balanced or complex IIPA out there, but enjoyable nonetheless.

It poured an orange/amber color with a thick white head. The aroma was citrus, pine and light fruity bubble gum. The taste was bitter throughout with some malt and a slight alcohol bite. Very tasty.

At Beermongers, on tap. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A nice nose of oranges and rich dried fruit. The flavor though was a bit odd; citrus, lemon spice, very sweet and dusty at times, the hops are quite light in the finish, almost like a hopped up Bitter. Enjoyable for sure.
