Bottle thanks to Ira! Pour is a deep copper with a small white head. Aroma and flavor is assertive pine/ resinous hops. Also astrong malt backbone. This is a deep dank IPA. Not subtle.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Amber, a little fiery and hazy, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Dank and sweaty citrusy nose.   Still has a sharp/bright hop aspect to it as well.   Muted hops on the tongue, a bit dank and
sweaty.   Seems like it has some age on it, or a bit of wet hops/staleness.   This one is only three months old or so... strange, maybe 4.   Not terribly fresh, floral, or citrusy.   Not biting either, which would be its
real downfall.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Just a dank/stale/sweaty hop finish.   Pretty boring overall, but not bad.   Needs to be more vibrant.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 MikeJslc (474) - Utah, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Deep gold, clear, off white head. Caramel malt, an herbal, somewhat vegetal hop character, fairly malty balance for a double IPA.

Poured from a 22ounce bottle. Grassy/citrus/herbal hops, muddled, caramel. Not a great example of a IIPA. Needs a brighter hop profile.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mcberko (4055) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 23, 2012
22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly restrained for a hop bomb, with notes of resinous hops, crackery malts, some biscuity notes and a bit of candied sugar. Flavour is quite crackery and biscuity in its hop notes, undoubtedly due to the Falconer Flight hops, creating a hay-like feel / taste referenced in the name. There is some very mild residual sugar further back, but by the time they come out, the hay-like hop bitterness comes back to finish of the palate. There is also some weird vegetal quality in there. Quite dry, with a medium astringency. Decent stuff, but not a fan of this hop variety.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 SHIG (3058) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle: Poured a copper orange amber color with fluffy fast evaporating beige head. Aroma is light hops and bubblegum. Taste is a very edgy hops bitter that leaves the tongue very dry.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 harry13 (11) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Poured out of a bomber from La Bodega. A beautiful amber/brown color with a small whitish head. Aroma had multiple layers of hops. It is a very lively and bitter beer with a bitter finish that stays on the tongue. Great for a hophead like me!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 tiong (2242) - Espoo, FINLAND - SEP 13, 2012
Draught @ City Beer, San Francisco
Pours dark reddish with a small head. Aroma of caramely sweetish malts, floral hops, exotic fruits and grass. Taste is sweet and malty with floral and grassy hops, hints of pine and lemon. Finish is malty and caramely with sweetish notes. Hints of floral hay hops. Okay, quite malty IIPA.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 neepsntatties (885) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Bottle. Colour...golden amber with little head. Nose...cut hay, sweet hops and lightly roasty malt. Palate...lightly frothy with the hops leaning toward the piney side and a dry earthy aspect that I’m guessing comes from the blend of hops. The honey malt seems to come in to play at the back of my palate and makes for a dandy finish.
