A- Pours a hazy orange hue with a 1 finger, frothy lacing that leaves very little lacing on the way down. S- Piney, resiny, light caramel, hints of burnt toast. T- Piney, and sappy up front followed by wheat, hints of light stone fruit and finally a resiny hop bitterness. M- Medium bodied with ample carbonation. D- I found this to be a very enjoyable IPA. A pine bomb that seemed unique and satisfying.

The smell balances nicely between bitter piney hops to caramel malts to combine in an earthy sort of way. The taste is bitter and sweet but at separate times. However, it does lean more towards the bitter side. There is a decent bitter piney aftertaste that ends leading into the same finish. On the palate, it sits about a light to medium with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seems to be toned down in this one as it doesn’t seem to display a lot of the normal harsh characteristics of an AIPA.

Pours a hazy Amber copper decent creamy head. Aroma Is citrus bread but aroma is faint. Taste follows the aroma with mild hop bitterness and a bit of spiced. Very smooth drinking and kind of silky.

Location: Can at Beer Culture, 8/11/14

Aroma: The nose is tropical fruity hops, some earthy notes, and a bit of spice
Appearance: This one pours a clear light amber color with an inch or so of white head on top
Flavor: Tastes much the same, hoppy and fruity, pine comes through in the flavor for a bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has a clean feel, and a long, pretty dry finish to it
Overall Impression: I liked this one. A very nice mid-ABV type of IPA. Not quite session level low ABV, but low enough ABV to be sessionable (if you know what I mean).

Can shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Hazy amber with a big white head. Aroma of malt, a bit of fruitiness and some citric hops. Flavor has sweetish malt, mild citric hops and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Very mild but decent and enjoyable.

Golden, big cat pee citra nose, earthy, slightly character, brings out some really nice nutty malt characteristics. Dry finish, very Alaskan other than the massive dry-hopping.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is decently hopped. Can actually smell it without bringing it to my nose. Flavor is again decently hopped with a little caramel malt sweetness after the swallow. Pretty solid little IPA here. Nothing to move to Alaska for but it’s enjoyable.

Can without a date code. Pours with a clear golden orange body and a large white head that leaves good lace. Aromas are of mild toasty malt, low esters, subdued citrus, resin, tropical, grassy. Mild caramel. Flavors are bitter, dry and lightly astringent in the finish. Bitter balance, with medium hop flavor (tropical, pine, resin, all light). Medium toasty, biscuity and nutty malt. Lively carbonation. Okay, but I wish there was more hop flavor and a bit less bitterness and malt character (feels like an old school IPA).
