4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A- Pours a hazy orange hue with a 1 finger, frothy lacing that leaves very little lacing on the way down.
S- Piney, resiny, light caramel, hints of burnt toast.
T- Piney, and sappy up front followed by wheat, hints of light stone fruit and finally a resiny hop bitterness.
M- Medium bodied with ample carbonation.
D- I found this to be a very enjoyable IPA. A pine bomb that seemed unique and satisfying.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from QFC U. Village (which seems to have given up on trying to outcompete my local gas station for interesting beer, by the way). Hadn’t had this one, so why not?
Brown pour, white head. Malty nose, some oxidized hops hinting that this one may not be in the best of condition (even though I bought it yesterday). This is an old-school IPA, heavy, resiny and bitter, plenty of c-hops, malts quite forward, rather in the SN Celebration vein. Ten years ago it would have been in the 3.5 to 3.8 range, but no more. Given the sick IPAs that I can get in cans these days there’s just not much reason one would drink this regularly.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz can. (The Liquor Collection) Honolulu, HI.
Cloudy golden color with a mid-size white foamy head.
Dry hops, mild bitterness, biscuits, dry malt and some müsli in the aroma.
The flavor is herbal hops, mild citrus, moderate bitterness and biscuit malt. Pretty ordinary. A little fruitiness wouldn’t kill it.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can from Andy. Pours a hazy Amber with a small foamy off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, syrupy citrus, and orange zest. Taste of pine, lemon, grass, citrus skins, and some medicinal notes. Aroma wasn’t bad, taste wasn’t good.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a finger and half of head on a cloudy dark straw body.
The aroma is bright, lots of grapefruit and lemon, with a little mango and pineapple.
The taste is a dull bitter start, a little tropical sweetness middle and finishes with a strong dry bitterness. It gets better as it goes.
The texture is crisp.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
4/27 on the can but smelled and tasted older. Some pine and bitterness, but too biscuit and caramel heavy. A little fruit as it opens, but to me another overpriced dud.
