A- Pours a hazy orange hue with a 1 finger, frothy lacing that leaves very little lacing on the way down. S- Piney, resiny, light caramel, hints of burnt toast. T- Piney, and sappy up front followed by wheat, hints of light stone fruit and finally a resiny hop bitterness. M- Medium bodied with ample carbonation. D- I found this to be a very enjoyable IPA. A pine bomb that seemed unique and satisfying.

12oz can straight from AK thanks to SHIG. Poured a deep orangey/amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma of seltzer, caramel malts, honey topped toast, molasses and light citrus rind. Flavor is basically the same, more toast and grain that citrus and hops unfortunately. Big body with strong fizzy carbonation.

Draft at the brewery, Pours a foggy orange color with little to no head. Light hoppy aroma. Smooth taste. Some hops. Light on the citrus. Not much of a bite or dry finish. Decent IPA, but I was hoping for more.

Can thanks to Andy. Decided to be lazy and drink it straight from the can...so going to assume it looked nice. Smelt pretty decent too - citrus malt with some resin, slightly bready, some papaya, a balanced bitterness with moderate carbonation and pleasant body, slightly astringent but overall still worth trying.

Can from QFC U. Village (which seems to have given up on trying to outcompete my local gas station for interesting beer, by the way). Hadn’t had this one, so why not?

Brown pour, white head. Malty nose, some oxidized hops hinting that this one may not be in the best of condition (even though I bought it yesterday). This is an old-school IPA, heavy, resiny and bitter, plenty of c-hops, malts quite forward, rather in the SN Celebration vein. Ten years ago it would have been in the 3.5 to 3.8 range, but no more. Given the sick IPAs that I can get in cans these days there’s just not much reason one would drink this regularly.

12 oz can. (The Liquor Collection) Honolulu, HI.
Cloudy golden color with a mid-size white foamy head. Dry hops, mild bitterness, biscuits, dry malt and some müsli in the aroma. The flavor is herbal hops, mild citrus, moderate bitterness and biscuit malt. Pretty ordinary. A little fruitiness wouldn’t kill it.
