Dark black in color, light tan head... Aroma of smoked malts, chocolate, molasses... Flavor is crisp and light bodied for a stout, mouthfeel is smoked sausage and ash, tons of smoke, some chocolate... Ash on palate... Solid ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber shared by AirForceHops. Thanks, Chris! Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Chris says it’s not awful, so we’re off to a good start. Aroma is very smoky, liquid smoked sausage? Wow. Flavor is dark chocolate, molasses, a bit of roast, then it finishes with a smoked sausage flavor that doesn’t quite overwhelm the stout. Better than expected.

650 ml received in a trade with SHIG. Oily black color with fast dying tan head. Aroma is smoke without question. Ash, burnt oak and light traces of chocolate. Thankfully the flavor is mild in smoke, shows a good amount of chocolate in a fuller, hefty body. The texture is rather slick and oily. Good stout character with hidden alcohol. Better than I was guessing, not awful.

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops via SHIG. Pours dark cola with a thin brown head. Aromas of smoke peat and malt. Taste is similar to aroma with hint of dark chocolate and lingering bitterness.

black with thin coffee head, drops to oily ring. Heavy roast and smoke, light ash. Flavor slightly sweeter, ashy roast all over with Islay level smoke, faint sugar, sticky thin body. Pleasant if singular.

Nice and well balanced for a smoked beer. Pours black with decent head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Some caramel. Light but well done smoke infusion. Bottle.
