2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz can picked up at Brewforia Meridian for too much... Just too much. ;-) Poured into my Elysian pumpkin goblet.. Hazy pale orange... Short-lived white head shows little retention or lacing. Nose has big coriander, and the cumin really doesn’t work.. wheat malt with some Belgian esters.. Again, the cumin comes across weird on the finish... Reminds me of the way a catbox smells... citrus is mild... Light body as expected with a decent heft from the wheat, carbonation is good... Really pedestrian across the board... I had high hopes because it is Midnight Sun and because the high price tag, but the brew is a complete let down... Not that good showing for a witbier at all.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The Sampler, Brooklyn can: Pours hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, coriander, and bubblegum. This beer is rather sweet and spicy. I didn’t get the bitterness out of this that some of the previous raters complained about. I wouldn’t say that it is the most refreshing beer out there, but it was a sweet and spicy romp.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
White straw like color thin head and hazy. Lots of floral and spices linger throughout the beer. I like the cumin and coriander flavors that also hint throughout.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can, no date on bottle but the store bar code sticker stated 3/8/14. More dirty than very cloudy looking. Color is pale yellow straw. Aroma is a thick wall of mild banana ester and coriander. Nothing about the aroma is refreshing, its the necessary parts but too much of each. Flavor is similar, not light a thicker feel to the beer. Kind of sticking on the cheeks, not what I want from a Wit.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can:   Soft wheatiness, a touch spicy, with a little coriander and orange peel.   Not too bright, but its clean.   Seems more of an American Wheat that wants to be a Belgian Wit.   Could stand to be whiter in color, but as a somewhat dirty pale straw its pretty consistent with most examples that are supposed to be Witbiers.   Clean, wheaty, with soft spices.   Good, but needs to be spicier and brighter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
slight cloudy light gold pour good dense white head. aroma of barley, sour bread, cumin is strong here. tastes strongly of bread, yeast spice. good flavorful punch. I probably couldn’t session this though; too much spice becomes bitter. sweet but finishes dry enough. midweight palate. light carb.
