Commercial Description:
Brewed in the bold spirit of Alaska, Sockeye Red IPA is a finely crafted Pacific Northwest-style India Pale Ale with a real bite. Ample pale two-row malt creates a fresh, firm body while specialty malts impart a spawning red hue. The predominant character of this fiesty catch comes from outlandish portions of Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe hops, giving this beer tremendous citrus and floral aroma and flavor. Determined and bitter but amazingly balanced, Sockeye Red is gnarly enough to take you hook, line and sinker. Forget about a bigger rig; grab a bigger glass.

Poured a medium to dark, hazy mahagony with a larger off white head. Nice hoppy aromas - piney with citris. Tasted just like it smelled. Not too bitter of a finish with a slight sweetness to it. Not a bad IPA.

Bottled by Uinta in SLC, Utah. Not a bad IPA. Had a nice dry West Coast flavor to it.

Bright reddish orange color, tan head on edge. Citrus grapefruit hops dominate but balanced nicely. Smooth and quaffable.

This was a thoroughly impressive beer. It pours a reddish amber color with a massive tan head which took a damn eternity to dissipate in my pint glass. The aroma was entrancing. These were probably some of the freshest hops I have ever smelled, right there next to Stone and Alesmith IPA’s straight off the tap. I mean these hops were FRESH!!! The aroma was woody, piney, with hints of citrus and orange. The flavor was a class act as well. Caramel hints with citrus and sweet tangerine, tons of fresh hop bitterness. Its like i can also chew the sweetness amidst the tangy hoppiness. Seething with flavor. Floral dryness finishes this beer up. Full, sometimes creamy mouthfeel. Just a great beer!

Pours copper with a frothy head with nice lacing. Floral hop aroma. Flavor was hoppy, woody, and slightly citric, but finished clean. Overall a good beer.

Nice looking pour, great pine aroma, and well balanced hoppiness. Vey appetizing and went great with the tandoori chicken.

Copper in colour with an absolutely huge tan frothy head that leaves a sticky and thick lacing. The nose is very hoppy (but not overly) with a kiss of citrus. The taste has that zing of hops but ends up being more subdued and more of copper and rust than anything else. Not too bitter, pretty darn good overall, but I wouldnt say better than sierre nevada.

A dark red color, with a smooth whitish cream colored head, moderate to heavy hop aroma, with a substantially strong bitterness and finish.
