3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Tørst. This is a pretty darn dark one. Really dark brown in the glass and a tall lasting dark chocolate brown lacing head in the top. Smells really different. It has that roastiness it’s supposed to have, but it’s also agave I fused with cacti and some sort of sweetish liquor. Some coffee, semi sweet chocolate chips, some alcohol and old coffeehouse. Like it. So East to drink this. It’s light, near fluffy and creamy in the mouth. Chocolaty and velvety. Traces of milk chocolate and latte. The aftertaste gives lots of mild licorice that lingers on. Lots of flavor wrapped in a lightdrinkable beer. 15.06.2015

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2016 Pours a deep brownish black from the bomber with thin tan head that leaves light lace. Aroma of oxidized chocolate malts and earth. Taste follows, clean, but a bit too old. Solid though.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
From City beer store SF:
Pours black color, clear, with unstable light brown head, which immediately transforms itself to a ring around the glass. Visually low carbonation. Aroma: very, very fresh fruity aroma, which takes on blueberry, plums, prunes, resins, with dark malts, which takes on coffee, dark and milk chocolate, hint of honey, vanilla, oak, toffee, yoghurt...
Similar is flavor: very intense, with notes of espresso coffee, cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, hint of dark chocolate, supported with hop flavors, which takes on dark fruits, which I mentioned yet before.
Finish is sticky dry. Body is medium, texture silky soft, carbonation is low.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Chocolate. Tobacco after taste. Tasted side by side with Beserker. They are quite a bit different. Beserker is thicker, sweeter, and did I mention thicker? Both are really good. Tanner head. Thx AkAndy.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
65 cl bottle (6.9% abv version).
Pours dark red-brown color with a small head. Mild hop notes, dark roasted malts, faint cola notes, caramel and some rye bread. Flavor is bready, dry malty, some oat notes, cocoa powder. Super dry malty palate, short cocoa finish. Carbonation is soft to medium. Full-bodied and filling. Clearly the little brother. Aroma is a bit of a let-down but the taste is very nice, surprisingly strong flavor for a "small beer".

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2016 OK stout, recent bottle from Decicco’s. Drinkable and black coloured, mild roast. Mostly I drainpoured as just OK and not complex.
Had this again a half year later, and very malty drinkable. Rerated up.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. It’s a thick black pour with a tan head. Still. Nice aroma with chocolate and dark fruits. Great flavor, really unique. Soft anise notes, milk/dark chocolate, and blackberry. A notable lack of bitterness, which is a good thing. Smooth, silky palate with medium body. Great beer.
