Hazy ruby colour, thin but creamy head. Raisiny fruitiness with rich and creamy caramel, some herbal hops in the nose. Some booze when cold. Caramelly sweet flavor, sweet fruits, low bitterness. Raisiny, caramelly and heba finish with some alcoholic warmth. A bit thin maybe. Oily texture, low carbonation. Nice BW, not excellent.

Copenhagen Beer Festival.Clear brown beer. Soft and dry palate. Lovely rich toffee caramel malt. The hops are quite mild. A rich barleywine.

Bottle. Clear amber body with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel, dried fruit, alcohol, sweetness. Flavor is sweet caramel, notes of butter, wood, dried fruit. Forever lasting lacings.

Bottle. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is very sweet, caramel syrup on freshly baked biscuits.

Bottle, tfs Vaiz! Reddish brown pour, medium head. Aroma is sweet malty caramel with fruits and hops.
Flavour is medium sweet, light bitter with malt, caramel some hops and fruit. Sticky clingy palate. Nice but no killer.

Bottle at home. Aroma of cough syrup, caramel, dark malts, some spices and sugar. Flavor is sweet and alcoholic, quite round and thick bodied. A tiny hint of diacetyl, but nothing to worry about. Nice brew.

Bottle at KBH Festival, 2009. Pours dark amber with a creamy white head. Sweet nose and taste. Bread, caramel, alcohol and a bit of hops. Slightly vinous. Warmth. Full bodied. On the sweet side....

Clear amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and overripe plums. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Finished bitter.

Bouteille de 50cl. Meilleure avant le 30.05.2014. 10,0 alc/vol. Gros pssst à l’ouverture, grosse mousse sur une bière brune trouble. Le nez est presque tout en caramel. En bouche le liquide est sucré, facile à boire. Une touche de houblon agrémente cette masse de malt. Simple et peu complexe, facile à boire.

Biottle. Pours a dark anber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty sweetish caramel and dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some bitter hints and hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty bitter spicy finish with hints of dark fruit in the aftertaste.
