COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500ml bottle at Cafe Sara. Tiny white head. Clear reddish golden body. Aroma of alcohol, fruits and flowers. Very creamy and slightly bitter in the mouth. The chili taste lasts a while. Definitely something else.

(Munkegata, 02.06.13)

Bottle, february 18th 2013. Aroma of belgian yeast, toffee, apples and alcohol. Taste is malty with chocolate and a light chili note. I’d like a bit more from the chili, it seems to be very carefully spices. Sweet and yeasty mouthfeel, with a bittersweet finish. All in all a decent beer, though it could do with a bit more attitude.

Draft at Gudtav Wieds Roskilde, pour haze orange with half finger white head. Aroma fruity belgian bitter lemon. Taste is sour like brett fermented beers, small peppery aftertaste. Strange. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours light hazy dark amber with small offwhite head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toffee, apples, dried apricot and cinnamon. Taste is heavy sweet and faint acrid towards the end. Body is oily with lively carbonation. Finish is long and sweet with notes of cane sugar, caramel, fruit, anise and white wine. I didn?t find the chili though.

Aroma of a belgian trippel with yeast and orange peal. Orange with white tiny head. Sweet candy sugar, bread, yeast and chili that hits you long time after you have had it. Thin and well carbonated.

Appearance: A clear copper colored beer.
Taste: Tasting sweet spicy chili.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a sticky texture. A good body.
Overall: Sweeter than expected from a triple, a double on steroids?
Note: Bottle 500 ml at Johannes Källare. Reviewed 2013-04-29.
