Tap @ Carlsens Kvarter, Odense.
Pours completely black with a fine, staying, creamy, cappucino film head. Aroma has coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, sweetness, English liqourice. Medium carbonation, light but good creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is initially quite sweet, then dark chocolate, lots of sweet English liqourice, light coffee. The sweetness diminishes as it warms with lots of roasted malts and light hoppy bitterness. Really a great use of liqourice flavour! Yum indeed.
