English: The Double IPA is an American inspired, dark amber beer with a beautiful light coloured head. The brewer has chosen to dry hop this IPA which adds to the full and complex hop profile of Cascade, Chinook and Centennial. The IPA has a very full body, with a soft yet strong flavour and a very bitter finish - the result has to be experienced. Goes with spicy dishes, but is best enjoyed on its own.

[Bottle from Vinens Verden sampled with the Swamp-lovers.] Mmmmm, real nice experience. Hazymud light brown/orange look with weak head. Notes of grass, flowers, pine, great weak alcoholtaste, citrusgrapes, sweetness and a wonderful hoppyness.

Bottle at Ølbaren. Pours a nice clear mahogny colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of fruity hops, pine some alcohol and toasted malt. The flavour is sweet and hoppy with caramel, pine, fruits and slight alcohol. Fruity and hoppy dry sweetish finish. The alcohol is well hidden in this brew with an IBU of 119. I thank the owner of Midtfyns Bryghus (Eddie) for offering this to me, ToolHead and other around us.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2007 Bottle, 50cl. The beer is dark amber and reddish. The head is white and draws fine curtains. Aroma is clearly american hops, fills the nose and gives a very good first impression. The flavor follows the aroma. It has a complex and very balanced flavor. Flavors are hops and malts, with notes of caramel. Very good mouthfeel, that makes it very drinkable. Overall a very good american double IPA.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2010 50 cl bottle. Hazy reddish/brown color. Beige head. It´s a hoppy bomb - almost too much - and I love it. Floral and fruity tones, caramell sweetness, hint of liqorice. Warm alcohol.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2009 Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma and taste is first sweet malty with notes from caramel malts & sugar. And then hops dominates throughout. Piney, grassy & flowery hops. Medium bodied. Little warmth from alcohol. Like already said good bitter hoppy bite. But actually it is still a bit too sweet I think! But still a nice brew!Re-rating. Bottle at Esbjerg festival, 09. Sweet peachy caramel. Vaguely cloying. Way too sweet and not crispy enough. 3,7 - 3,5

Bottel.50cl. Strong intens aroma of fine hop´s, and a long lasting head, tan in color. At first it is overpowering in taste, but then you find out that it is the sweetness that is over the top and not the hop´s.
