English: The Double IPA is an American inspired, dark amber beer with a beautiful light coloured head. The brewer has chosen to dry hop this IPA which adds to the full and complex hop profile of Cascade, Chinook and Centennial. The IPA has a very full body, with a soft yet strong flavour and a very bitter finish - the result has to be experienced. Goes with spicy dishes, but is best enjoyed on its own.

Ambrée roux. Semi opaque. Entré sucré. Café (grain légèrement torréfié). Caramel. Sèche. Belle amertume soutenue. Résineuse. Orange amère. Un peu vanillé. Biscuité. Fine chaleur d'alcool. Bien.

Bottle from Omegn, Torvenhallerne, Copenhagen, DK. Pours unclear dark amber with a small fizzy, tan yellow-ish head leaving some lace. The nose has a lot of hops and some fruits, in the mouth it is grassy, with some pine, a bit of grapefruit. Solid bitterness balanced with a strong sweet malt base. Maybe a bit too sweet, as often with iipas. Smooth sticky-syrupy palate, very drinkable despite the high alcohol content (that doesn’t really show up).

"I dig the sweetness and the fruit in the nose and the flavor. It is a little too malt heavy for my liking but for a malt heavy double it’s quite nice and easy to drink. Medium bodied and slightly sticky. A bit dark for anything called a pale."

Mooie oranje kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt honing, hop, orange. Smaakt bitterzoet, fruitig, hop, honing. Goede bittere nasmaak.

50 cl bottle Appearance Copper body with on top of it stable frothy head of 2 fingers. Leaving some lacing Aroma: Strong heavy resins, a huge amount of caramelised malts, very powerfull. But a bit one dimensional. . Taste: Powerfull, but it’s unbalanced. Sweet caramel and heavy resinous hops, with a strong finish with some spices and were the alcohol kicks in a boozy way even slightly burning overtime. full body, slightly below average carbonation. A lot of powerfull stuff, but i’s not fully working., specially when the alcohol is comming too much through in the wrong way.
