English: The Double IPA is an American inspired, dark amber beer with a beautiful light coloured head. The brewer has chosen to dry hop this IPA which adds to the full and complex hop profile of Cascade, Chinook and Centennial. The IPA has a very full body, with a soft yet strong flavour and a very bitter finish - the result has to be experienced. Goes with spicy dishes, but is best enjoyed on its own.

Smaker masse humle og har en lang bitter ettersmak. God dobbel IPA, men blir nok ingen favoritt.

Pours cloudy dark gold with a small white ring. Aroma is grapefruit and earthy hop flavours. Taste is a nice dankness with grapefruit and earthy hop bitterness that is above average. Great beer.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - amber pour with off white head. Sweet malty and citrus fruity aroma and taste, big caramel, toffee, herbal and pine hoppy, solid bitter finish. Very nice.

[Bottle (500ml)] Pours a deep amber with an average size long-lasting frothy white head. No lacing. Aroma of resiny hops, alcohol, caramel malt and fruit. Flavour of caramel malt, resiny hops, fruit, alcohol and a long big bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. A bit too boozy for me, just pretty good.

2015-03-20. Hazy dark orange body with a with small frothy beige head. 3+ Moderate alcohol and hops in the aroma, caramel and light resin. Flavour is similar, fairly bitter, with resiny hops over caramel touched malt. Very light grapefruit citrus notes. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Just okay. Bit disappointing though, with too much emphasis on the malt and not enough on the hops for my tastes. Bottle from the LCBO shared by Symes.

500ml bottle from LCBO, Shops at Don Mills, Toronto, ON. 9.2 alc./vol. Pours a hazy amber colour with two finger of off white head. Floral aroma and some caramel on the nose. Metallic, boozy taste with a smooth hoppy finish. Considering that this is a double IPA, the taste is not extremely bitter.

Pours a murky amber with an off-white soapy head that leaves a thin lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus with some caramel. Full body, thick feel, lively carbonation. Taste packs a punch with grass, hop resin and alcohol. Long and bitter finish with something resembling bark or tree sap.

FROMTHEBOTTLE (22) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 25, 2015
500ml bottle A strange combination of brown and amber in the glass are topped by thick foamy head. Good foam retention. Aroma is of unused beer wort. Taste is at first malty, followed by distinct bitterness. Citrus and resin on palete. Have tasted some other beers from this brewery and really enjoyed them. this one falls short of the others.Hop profile is too bitter, not well balanced with the rest of the flavours.

Definitely on the sweeter side. Pours slightly cloudy Amber with limited had and spotty lacing. Nose is sweet caramel. Flavours of csramel dominate with some earthy bitterness and quite a bit of dark fruit like plums, also a hint of vanilla. Taste med bitter and med/light sweet. Full sticky body with lively csrbonation and a very agressive alcohol burn in the finish.
