stobbe74 (168), Denmark Oct 30, 2007 Updated: Nov 4, 2007Bottle, 50cl. The beer is dark amber and reddish. The head is white and draws fine curtains. Aroma is clearly american hops, fills the nose and gives a very good first impression. The flavor follows the aroma. It has a complex and very balanced flavor. Flavors are hops and malts, with notes of caramel. Very good mouthfeel, that makes it very drinkable. Overall a very good american double IPA. tarjei (1154), Bryne, Norway Oct 12, 2007 50 cl bottle. Hazy reddish/brown color. Beige head. It´s a hoppy bomb - almost too much - and I love it. Floral and fruity tones, caramell sweetness, hint of liqorice. Warm alcohol. pours clear deep amber with descent yellowish head. wonderful cascade aromas, just like I would’ve brewed myself. Some alcohol, but not too much. A close to perfect beer... ChristianScheffel (2087), Odense, Denmark Sep 1, 2007 Amber with a big off-white head. Big American hop aroma, with grapefruit, peach and pine. The bitterness comes through perfectly balanced by a malty sweetness, but without ever getting cloying. Both bite and hop flavour in the finish. Enjoyit (1090), Vadum, Denmark Oct 12, 2007 Reddish brown ofcolorwith abeige head. An aroma of sweet malt, hops, grapefruits, pines and grass. A flavor of liqurice, grapefruits, grass, caramel and hints of dark fruits.
