COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Hazy amber color with good off-white head. Hoppy aroma. This beer that was a duel between Midtfyns brewhouse and Horbeer where the beer was being brewed after precisely the same recipe. Midtfyn is losing this battle big. Fine beer, but the flavor hops is disappearing in malt sweetness.

Bottle, 50cl, courtesy of Toni Flükiger. Best-by date of 2011-11-05. Pours a dark amber with a white head. Smells a bit flowery, with some light fruitiness, sweet, and a bit buttery. Tastes bland; a mild bitter, and mild sweetness, with some nuttiness, tartness, but nothing well blended or particularly interesting. Medium bodied. Oily texture. Medium carbonation. Finishes with a bitter butteriness.
