COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2012 Bottled: Pours deep brown with a medium sized beige head, leaving a fair lacing.Nose of citrus, grapefruits and slightly toasted malts. Sweet flavor with citrus, grape fruit and a fine malt back bone of roast, nuts and licorice. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry with some bitterness. Rewieved and this time it was mutch better, maybe this is the difference from a little tasting glass and a sniffer at home(?)

Hides high IBU behind liquorice and a touch of pine?. Soft though and close to feeling like a stout. Thumbs-up to handbrewer Claus

Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a huge creamy brown head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, chocolate, and some roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, nuts, bread, roasted malt, and hops lending it notes of spices and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Sample 15 cl. Clear and matte black color with a large off-white head of good duration. Moderately malty aroma and strong hoppy with bright notes of citrus and grapefruit. The taste is sweet of the roasted / toasted malt and hops, which lead to a dry and a bitter taste. Long aftertaste with lovely notes of licorice
