Danish: Denne sorte amerikansk IPA er et samarbejde mellem Midtfyns Bryghus og vinderen af de Fynske, Danske og Nordiske Mesterskaber i håndbryg, Claus Christensen fra Munkebo Mikrobryg. Den er brygget med en unik blanding af de mest kraftfulde amerikanske humlesorter som giver en perfekt balance mellem humlen og noterne fra den ristede byg. Gleipner er Fenrisulvens kæde. Den er smedet af bjergenes rødder og kattepoters larm. Pas på, når du først har smagt den én gang, er du lænket til Ragnarok kommer.

Clear dark black colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, citrus hops, dry, light licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110527]

From tap. Pours dark brown with a thick and tan head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and solid bitter. Smooth and fruity, dark malty. Lingering dark malty and citrusy hoppy. Smooth citrusy finish.

Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a huge creamy brown head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, chocolate, and some roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, nuts, bread, roasted malt, and hops lending it notes of spices and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus and grapefruit aroma with hints of licorice. Roasted malty licorice and hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter licorice finish.

Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Semi clear dark brown beer. Big pale tan head. Palate is light, a little soft and a little dry. Sweet toffee caramel malt. Mild piney hops. Semi dry finish. Nice beer - could just do with a little more aggression in the hops.
