Black with a fine brown head. Sweet aroma of candy sugar, dried fruits, coffee and alchol. The flavours are way too sweet with some roasted malts that cannot however keep the cloying sirup-like feeling down. The palette is nice though, soft and creamy.

Murky dark brown body, thick tan head. Milk coffee and chocolate in the nose. Lovely coffee and chocolate in the taste, somewhat yoghurtey. A very good IS that I really loved.

Jul 7, 2008 Bottled at RBESG. Really black, beige head. Haeavy licorice aroma. Thock and malty, very solid. From nose to finish it makes the journey fromraw licorice and tar to milky smooth chocolate. All in a soft transition without becoming overly intrusive. A good one!

Jul 6, 2008 Sampled at the RSBEG08 grand tasting. Browninsh black with medium beige head. Sharp and hrash burnt malt aroma, with strong alcoholic notes. Medium bodied and very smooth. Ok balance.

Black color, light brown head. Roasted, smoke, butter, coffee scent. Roasted, chocolate, coffee taste. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness.
