2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle of 50 cl. Hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, hops, citrus and hints of dark fruit and a bit of alcohol. A little disappointing and simple in the taste of a beer from Midtfyns Brewery. Moderately bitter in taste and aftertaste

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml bottle. Finland.
Hazy dark amber colour with average size creamy off-white head.
Bitter hoppy aroma with dark American hops with fresh citrusy hops. Some balancing maltiness. Flavour is like fruit/berry juice with some added hoppy bitterness. Quite peculiar. Not necessarily unsuccessful but not the best of IPA. Caramel malt and some sugary sweetness. Thinnish after all. Midtfyns likes the IPA on the maltier side.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 50 cl, Alko Arkadia. Pours cloudy deep redish amber with a huge beige head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is vinous, malty, caramel and bready. Where are the hops? Flavor is, aaah, here are the hops, acidy, citric, a bit piny, caramel, malty and bready. Finishes acidy and malty. Too much malt and too little hops in my opinion.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle. Hazy coppery colour, thin off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt, peach, citrus and floral hops. The flavour is sweetish malty, fruity, with a moderately bitter, aromatic hoppy finish. A bit too much sweetness and too little hoppy flavours in my opinion, but not bad at all.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottled, rated 2011-04-27) Hazy dark copper with a medium, quite lasting head. Pretty mild nose with pleasantly aromatic, slightly woody hoppiness. Slightly solventy flavor with dryish woodiness and slight roughness. Medium body, soft CO2. Somehow they’ve managed to brew a British IPA using American hops. This is nothing compared to their excellent DIPA.
