COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: An American inspired pale ale with a beautiful white head. It’s amber coloured with a rich malt profile and generously hopped with Cascade and Centennial. The brewer has chosen to dry hop this unique IPA during the fermentation and the result must be experienced.

Clear amber color, good creamy white head. Licorice, resin, hops in the nose ... suprise, not like in a standard IPA. Flavor is bitter: resin, nuts, alcohol, malts. This is more like a strong ale than an IPA. And despite of American hops feels more like a strong ESB from England than IPA from Stateside.

About 100ml poured from a bottle. Pale amber body, slowly diminishing off-white head. Decent aroma of late fruits. Sweet malts and bittersweet citrus fruits in flavour. Medium bodied. Nice, but not more than average for the style (Copenhagen Beer Festival, 06.05.2010).

22-JAN-2010, bottle with Ulkløbben @Morten. Orange with white head. Marcipan, bitter, though not a lot. Creamy. Not IPA’ish, just a very pleasant beer. I am not sure that an IPA should be so pleasant? Well, anyway I like this beer.
