Der er alt for mange juleøl, der ikke smager af jul. Her er endelig en ale, der lever op til forventningerne. Tak for det.

Color is hazy golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, spicies, fruit and hops. Taste is little sweet, but it turns to an bitter finish. Flauvour of orange. Nice balance between alcohol, sweetness and bitteness. I would recommend it to everybody.

Copenhagen 21/4 2015. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Silly looking bald Christmas elf toasting on the label. Pours hazy orange with white head. Seems pretty unfiltered as small particles are floating around. Aroma is sour and citruslike with some alcohol and spices chiming in. Soft carbonation. Taste has a little fruity sweetness but is dominated by slightly bitter sour citrus fruit. Kind of reminds me of orange marmelade.

At first it smelled like some weird combination of sweat and piss, most sweat. But then it opened up, and tasted more of orange peel and coriander seeds. The latter made most of the smell, as it turns out. Eat something sweet to it. Pastry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
