Aroma of wet basement. Clear golden with large head. A collection of herbs in the taste. Medium body, sticky texture & average carbonation.

Gylden med lavt skum. God aroma av tropisk frukt og humle. Noe alkohol. Smaken er frisk, fruktig og bitter. Også her er alkoholen litt merkbar. Medium/tykk konsistens.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Langnes. På R124 26 Apr 13. Gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Høyt skum som daler - men holder seg anstendig. Antydning til lacing. Veldig god fruktaroma. Søte plommer. Smaken det samme. Blir litt tørr i avslutninga.

Slightly hazy, amber colored. Slight aroma of hops, some bittering hops. Tasting the beer it has an off flavor (diacetyl). I have experienced this at varying degrees in the bottles I have tasted.

50cl brown bottle 6.8 abv, thanks to Rune, the arctic beer professor. Foam willing, diminishing after couple of minutes to a 3mm tight layer, on the hazy amber body. Fruity berry scents, dried apricots, plums, prunes, malts. Strong taste of hops, roasted almonds, barbecued plums, ash on wood. Full bodied taste, with distinct bitterness. Final with dryness, bitterness, barbecue oil, hops and herbs. Not sure about "american pale ale" as style, but overall it is very tasty, as somewhat "herb smoked malt beer". Påskebryg mean Easter Brew, and the notes of apricots reminded me about driving at spring through an ukrainian village with apricot trees full of new sprung out white flowers. Happy Easter!

Thanks to Stefan for sharing a 500ml bottle at a drinking session. Rocky, dense, off-white, good lacing head. Slightly hazy amber coloured body. Aromas of Apricot, plums and earthy malts. Herbal hoppy flavour alongside notes of almond and semi-sweet, dark fruits. Dry ending with a bitter touch. Fine bodied. Works well for me (Tromsø 29.08.2013).

Flaske fra vinmonopolet. Klar orange/ravfarget.stor hvit skumtopp.lavt karbonert. malt, karamell, furunål,humle, blomster. Kunne vært god, men den har en ganske ufin ettersmak av diacetyl. Ikke spesielt positiv når kona synes den lukter oppkast. Må muligens testes igjen

Bottle, shared april 6th 2013. Hazy dark orange body, beige head. Hoppy aroma, grass, pineapple and pine. Light butter notes. Taste of flowery hops, caramel, pine and again a hint of butter. Bottle is a year old, I remember it was said to have way too much diacetyl at the time. I guess a years aging in room temp has removed most but not all of that taste. It’s definately there, but not overshadowing the rest of the beer. The drawback is probably the hops aint as fresh anymore though.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2013 0.5 L bottle brought home from Vinmonopolet, Storo. Pors a slightly hazed dark gold colored body, under a tall shiny blond top. Initial aroma of light herbal/floral, light earthy hops, followed by a whiff of clean and sweet-scented toasted malts. Clean malt body, as well. Toasted, light bready with a rounded, light sweetness. Fine spicy and herbal bitterness. Feels full in the mouth. Soft on the palate. Balanced malty-bitter ending. Not an APA in my book. But a really enjoyable one, for sure.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2014 0,5 bottle from kvadrat. Pours hazy with a nice off white foam. Nose is caramel, some ripe fruits, nice mild hoppyness, some citrus. First sip really reminds me of easter, prob an old memory of somehting. Floral hops, more fruits, caramel, Both heavy in the malt and hop departement but nicely balanced. Would love to sit with this in the sunny side in the mountains
